I tried listening to both balance amps, in balance mode, both provides more instrumental separation, wider soundstage (protector soundstage is a little smaller than toucan but more warmer) and enables you to virtually visúalise the positioning of the instruments in your head, not like a layer-layer factor found in most amps..
virtually zero noise (protector is more dead silent even when turning the knob, the toucan has noise when turning the volume switch but thats just about it, both emits zero noise using jh16 and Livewires3+3 when playing music in looseless or 320kbp mp3...
Jazz , Classical sounds, Vocals are unbelieveble using balance mode..
even made me enjoyed robbie williams 'beyond the sea' ...
and i dont really like robbie williams..
